Becoming a competent injector requires more than learning injection points. Each patient presents with unique anatomy, medical history, and aesthetic goals, making injectables a medical procedure that demands structure, supervision, and disciplined clinical judgment. New injectors often struggle to translate theory into safe, repeatable practice while managing the responsibility of treating live patients.
At Auri Academy in Gilbert, AZ, this 2-day foundational New Injector Certification CME Course is designed to address those challenges directly. The program delivers comprehensive training focused on anatomy, patient assessment, injection technique, safety, and complication management. Structured didactic learning is combined with lab practice and supervised hands-on patient injections, supported by a low trainee-to-trainer ratio to allow individualized guidance.
Participants develop neuromodulator (Botox®/Dysport®) and dermal filler skills using both needle and cannula techniques and may be eligible for up to 16 CME/CE credit hours upon successful completion, where applicable.
Hands-on training uses real Auri Aesthetics patients to reflect authentic anatomical variation and clinical conditions rather than simulated models. Training includes access to the foundational technique library showcasing neuromodulator and dermal filler injections.
Participants may:
Bring three personal models at no additional cost, or
Request three patient models for $150 total ($50 per model)
Up to 16 CME/CE–eligible hours upon successful course completion
2-day intensive training combining didactic education and supervised live-model injections
Self-paced virtual didactic access to support preparation and knowledge retention
Hands-on experience with real patients, including lab practice before live injections
Foundational instruction in anatomy, product selection, and injection safety
Assessment-driven treatment planning supported by standardized clinical protocols
Complication recognition and management education, with protocols provided
Additional professional support, including resume guidance, professionally filmed injection videos, and 4 hours of shadowing at no extra cost
Supervised live model injections with 3 hours of hands-on time per trainee (1.5 hours neuromodulators, 1.5 hours dermal fillers), compared to shared-model formats in many programs.
Standardized, pre-recorded didactic videos allow learners to review content at their own pace before hands-on training, with time allocated for theory review before injections.
Training extends beyond the 2-day course with 4 additional shadowing hours, dedicated Q&A time, and continued mentorship after completion.
Safety zones, complication recognition, and management protocols are taught and provided.
Dedicated time for complete assessments, product preparation, and lab practice using injectable silicone faces before treating live models.
Resume guidance, exposure to employment opportunities within Auri's Arizona network, and continued training pathways.
Insufficient anatomical education leading to variable outcomes
Didactic learning without live patient application
Limited real-time supervision and corrective feedback
Technique taught without a clinical decision-making context
Absence of measurable competency benchmarks
Auri Academy provides CME-accredited injector certification courses, preceptorships, and private trainings led by experienced educators, including national trainer Rechelle Trejo, NP. Education emphasizes supervision, safety, and individualized instruction rather than volume-based or trend-driven techniques.
Advanced offerings such as Clinical Elevate Workshops and Ownership Elevate Workshops are separate, high-level programs designed for experienced providers and practice owners. These advanced workshops are not included in foundational certification training and are positioned as the next step for qualified participants.
Auri Academy is committed to providing a trusted, structured pathway for clinicians entering aesthetic medicine, supporting long-term growth through disciplined training, live patient experience, and ongoing education.
